Meet Chef Laura

Welcome to Meaningful Meals! I am Chef Laura, and I couldn’t be more excited to have you here. Let me tell you a little bit about me and how my business came to be. I have always had an immense passion for food and for cooking. My parents both encouraged me to help them cook and bake anything I wanted. (Bless my mom for letting me crack the eggs.. just picture eggshells EVERYWHERE!)

After high school, even though my greatest passion SHOULD have led me to culinary school, I went off to college where I earned a degree in Biology and in Spanish. After graduating, I desperately tried to “fit” a career into one of those majors. After starting a couple different Master’s programs, I finally gave in and decided to actually follow my dream. I went off to culinary school.

I graduated with honors from Le Cordon Bleu in Minnesota and had the opportunity to complete my culinary internship working at a resort in Disney World. Every day of school and my internship felt like an awesome day of fun and playing, and in those moments, I knew that this culinary path was absolutely where I was meant to thrive.

As I started cooking for my clients, I quickly realized that there are so many more that can benefit from this service than I could ever physically cook for. So, my next step was to hire more chefs. When I bring on chefs, I look for the same passion, knowledge and skills that I bring to the kitchen. You can be confident that anyone on our team will go above and beyond for all of your culinary needs.

We look forward to bringing our passion, creativity, and knowledge into the homes of all of our clients. Nothing makes us more excited than bringing a smile to someone’s face with our cooking creations.
